My article was about security. Roads are being blocked, and 25,000 troops are being deployed into Washington D.C. for the inauguration. Cars are being checked for guns. A man was arrested for having an unregistered gun in his vehicle. The security started to rise on Saturday when they began to set up for the inauguration.

This article focuses on national guard members stationed at the capitol preparing for the inauguration of Joe Biden. However, background checks were ordered on the members of the national guard. Two of the members sent inappropriate texts and made comments, and the other ten were flagged. For the president-elects safety they were removed in case of extremist groups attempting to breach into the capitol again.

According to CNN news, most journalists are preparing for the violent and unpredictable protests that are presumed to occur the day of and before the inauguration. Most are terrified but believe that it is their duty to report. They are purchasing armor, helmets and even face masks to protect themselves from the expected outbreaks in all 50 capitols. Many will go incognito to protect themselves.

He will also talk about giving other people another chance and listening to people again. Biden wants to restore the soul to the nation as much as he can. It will talk about why America is worth saving and lift people's spirits. Biden is coming in as president at the hardest time since FDR and now has to address the nation and prove he can do it.

With the theme being “America the United”, we can expect lots of dedication tomorrow towards the soul of this country and creating a path to a brighter future. Because of all the rioting that took place on the 6th in the same city, the national guard will be present around the entire city to assure safety. There will be a special message from Jill Biden and commentary from historians and much more before the huge ceremony. Donald J Trump will not be attending as expected, but we look forward to seeing other past presidents such as George W Bush, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. The night will end with the virtual “Parade Across America” where president Joe Biden will make his way to his new home, the white house.
