Examples : Communication between the brain and muscles to allow movement. This is essential because we need to move to preform tasks that keep us alive such as breathing and our heart beating.
Pain response from the nerves to the brain. This is essential because without this system, we could severely damage our bodies.

The nervous system is the master communicator because it can interact with every other system in the body using nerves and neurons throughout each body system. The nervous system allows for communication between different body systems so that they can work together.

1. Gangrene, when cells die due to lack of blood flow. Lack of blood flow would cause the communication to the area to be cut off due to dead nerve cells
2. Diabetes: Insulin does not react to glucose. Causing the cells to not have energy and high blood pressure.
3. Age causes messages to be passed more slowly across nerves making communication between systems slower and more difficult.
