That means that others had been on the job longer, and therefore, the most recent employee hired was dismissed. In a case where someone loses their job for the reason of downsizing, it is really important to leave the job on good terms. Why? The reason is because this employer will become a reference for you in searching for a new job. Getting a good reference is very important in being able to obtain a job.

This video is about learning how to get a job and keeping it. Paul who is on the right is eager to get a the bank teller job. On the other hand Tim (on the left) is not. Paul is asking questions which makes a good impression. Tim is hardly paying attention to the class which makes it harder for him to be able to get the job. Paul has the upper hand with getting the job. Tim would most likely get fired because he wouldn't be paying attention and lacking the skills to keep the job. Paul would be able to keep the job because he pays attention, asks question and takes things seriously. Carol got fired due to being late all the time. She was a great typist and engineer; but she lacked the job skills needed for the job.

In this video you get told of what tips and skills you need to keep a job. You have to work hard and stay on task of what you are doing. To keep the job you have you have to pay attention and listen to what you are being told. To be successful at your job you have to be focus and on alert at all times and try not to get in trouble. To get a good job you have to meet the requirements of what that job needs or want's.

The video I chose talks about how to get a skateboarding sponsorship. To skateboarders, a sponsorship is treated like a job. The man in the video describes the importance of trying your best and how it's not easy to get a sponsorship. The work you put into trying to get a sponsor reflects on the people who view your sponsorship video. He also states that having a good attitude is everything. You can't expect to get a job if you don't take it seriously. Finally you need to make an impression and do something that will really catch the employers eyes.
