- A group of words of with a subject and a verb that shows a time.
Independent or dependent

What is a main clause?
- An independent clause that can stand alone as a sentence

What is an Adjective Clause?
- A dependent clause that identifies or gives additional information about a noun.
- It modifies a noun or a pronoun in a main clause

- For example,  Mr. Jackson is the teacher who helped me with my math problems.


What is a relative pronoun?
- A pronoun used to form adjective clauses
- That, when, where, which, who, whom, whose.
