“Waterfall” was created by using K. Ishiguro’s Klara and the Sun. It tells the story of the narrator and their mother, facing a waterfall, having a profound discussion.

We took Rachel Long’s piece and remastered it : not to erase, but to amplify it. By trimming the excess, we reinforced the silence between beats, and let the lines assert the heaviness of each word. We modernized the poem through the heartbeat of slam: condensed truths, urgent breaths, fragmented rebellion. What emerged is a new form rooted in the old : spoken word reborn from a written legacy.
