For example the setting and the props that are used in films.
     I  also learned about the different camera settings and techniques to go with the different camera angles, for example a white balance. I went out with a group and took photos and videos using different camera angles. I have never used these techniques before so it was new to me.

I was one of the directors, I think it went well as we all co operated together to choose the right shots for each scene.
We used a range of shots including close ups, long shots and pans.
I enjoyed being a director as I believe that I am quite good at it as I have a range of ideas suitable for different scenes.

I then done a risk assessment and learnt the different risks when filming which included fire, trip and electronic hazards These are what I will look out for when finding a location to film at. 
I also did a job analysis for a camera operator, these jobs are mostly temporary and include some experience.

For this we used traffic lights, we used a photo to show what was the signifier then we used the meaning of the lights which was signified. After I went onto denotations and connotations, this involved an example photo of a snake. It was about the dictionary meaning of the object, then words or things that associated with it, for example scary or dangerous. I did not know any of this before so it was new to me.
I then went onto lighting and the different kinds, I did not know any of this either. or example key lighting, fill lighting and back lighting. I used LED lights for this. I also learnt about the different effects that they have or example using a back light creates a halo effect and using a fill light to stop the contrasting shadow. I then went on to doing my own analyse and comparison piece of which I chose to do Nike. During this lesson we got to use shotgun mics, boom poles, tascams, and xlr cables we also learnt about the lapel microphone but we did not use it because it was not needed.

I like my group because I have not worked with them before and I am meeting new people. 
Today we got a lot  done, we talked about our roles then went on to the script and storyboard as well as going out to look at locations, which I thought was a lot that we got done. Which is also good because it shows that the group can work well together and we can have fun as well as get the work done.

I also left to go have a meeting at parndon mill for my 30 hours work experience. The mill is absolutely beautiful and the artists were lovely and they had amazing work with such a passion for what they do. I also worked on my moodboard  for my print based advert. From the moodboard I decided to go with my idea of having a silhouette of someone drinking and then having the slogan/words come from the bottle and into the body of the person almost like they were drinking the words.
 After college my production team and I started filming as this was the only time we could get our actors. During this time we filmed the shot drinking scene in the motion room, then we came out into the open plan area and filmed the firing scene for this we were able to get delta to play the boss and fire the alcoholic.

This did not involve me that much but I supervised the team to make sure they were doing what they were meant to be doing.

I then got the photo and put it onto my computer and into photoshop ready so that I could edit it.
Today I could not do the text as I did not know how to edit the text so that it came out of the bottle and into her body like she was drinking it.

For today I edited the text so that it was liquified. For this I used and edit called rastersizing this helped me to move the words freely so that I could put then in specific places so that it looked like slogan was moving from the bottle into her body. 
I also added a helpline to the bottom of the picture, this was for the drinkline which is supported by the nhs.
