Below I will go through each of these options so you can pick the right one for your needs. Some of these are public transport options, such as the Metro, bus and RER.  Other services include taxis, ride shares, and bicycle hire. I will link to the relevant websites for these under each entry. The Paris Metro is our preferred way to get around the city when you travel around central Paris because it is a costly form of travel. This is because it is fast, affordable, has a regular service, and it covers the majority of the attractions in the city centre. The Paris metro system is currently made up of 16 lines and 302 stations. It primarily covers transport zones 1 and 2. Basically wherever you are in central Paris you shouldn’t be too far from a metro stop.

Another port with good access to paris is The Port of Calasis and the fourth largest port in France this is suitable for groups and families as this can be a cheaper way to travel than booking a flight. There are two airports that serve Paris and these are Charles de Gaulle and Orly but this used for domestic flights now only.
