I designed the necklace to not be soldiered. The weaving holds everything together. To add a more artistic element I made the ends of the spirals with the torch that is in the back of the classroom. This new technique really added a new texture to the necklace. The contrast between the organic element of the tree and the hardness of the geometric shape proves to be effective. The process although long was enjoyable.
