If admin could follow up with students who are truant/excessively absent. It’s so difficult to keep up with students who are not even in class, because it’s hard to contact them (and emails/phone calls usually don’t go anywhere with those students)

The Breakfast situation needs to be resolved so that our students are able to eat and have energy.

Admin needs a way similar to Barr for student interventions. Having a tiered support system would help students get the help they need. Teachers should be able to recommend a very small percentage of students that need admin assistance (severe behavior issues, homelessness, hunger)

Chemistry - many of the students were placed into Chemistry this school year, with out having met the math prerequisites.

Key factors for F students: attendance issues (students are either missing class or constantly late to class); bathroom/water issues (students constantly leaving class for bathroom use/getting water, even after lunchtime and having bathroom passes); abusing access to S-11 (though much improved this semester, there were many students trying to go to S-11 for help during a specific period every single day); not using Flex for the support it offered (often going to classes to hang out with friends rather than getting help for classes they are failing, and even with monitoring students in Flex classes, there was a lot of socializing once I moved away)

Flex needs to be switched so that it is on Friday.  On Monday, students have not received enough homework to do during Flex.

Some of our members favor eliminating Flex.
