The District/School will:     

-Provide the students with a iPad/Chromebooks to use during the academic year. Students will return the computer at the end

of the school year.     
-Provide students wireless digital

access to academic content and resources at school only.     

-Promote innovation, communication skills and the sharing of resources, which are essential to life and work
skills.     
-Provide filtering programs at

school that are in accordance with the Children’s Internet Protection Act (CIPA).     
-Assure that all students have a

thorough understanding of the Jersey City Board of Education’s Acceptable Use Policy (AUP).     
-Provide technical support for the iPad/Chromebooks computer as needed.     

-Provide training for students on

Internet Safety and the correct use and care of the iPad/Chromebooks computer.     
-Make training available to parents

on Internet Safety and the correct use and care of the iPad/Chromebooks computer.

The District/School assumes no responsibility or financial liability for any damage the student or parent suffers, including but not limited to theft, physical damage, loss of data and software malfunctions of the iPad/Chromebooks.
