Recycling is very important as waste has a huge negative impact on the natural environment. Harmful chemicals and greenhouse gasses are released from rubbish in landfill sites. This has an effect on the cities, countries and towns because there is a great amount of smell that comes with landfill and smelling that everyday you wake up isn't really a pleseant smell .Recycling helps to reduce the pollution caused by waste. Habitat destruction and global warming are some the affects caused by deforestation.
for my home work I decided to go through things we buy and throw away the most .I asked my family to keep anything thats either carboard , plastic , glass and in a seperate bag put the food in . I wanted to see how much we don't recycle and if we started to recycle is there anything we could make from the recycled products . for example I made a speaker from a bottle and a toilet tube and this is how i made it ,
1. I cut the bottom and top off a bottle
2. I then cut the bottle in half
3. I took an empty toilet roll and meaured my my phone to the top of it
4. Then I mesured the carboard tubes to the bottle making sure they fitted and cut a hole where it was marked
5. finally i put all of it together and stared playing some tunes

A couple of other things I made was a hand bag from old jeans and a shirt , three different kind of purses , a braclet and speakers .
To take this project/homework to the next level I spent a full day using recycbles adn the things i made and see how I could cope . firstly I woke up on a saterday morning , got dressed , had my breakfast and did my makeup . While i was doing my makeup I listend to music through the speaker that i made wich was suprisingly loud.
After I did my make up I had to go and do some shopping to get some baking suplies , so i got my jean style bag (what I made ) my purses (also what i made ) and my waterbottle wich I filled up an empty bottle with water and set off for the day .
when I was at the shops it was easy to find my money , easy to get it out ,and easy to get it back in .
when I got home I used my speakers again while baking and again suprisingly loud .
what I experienced today made me realise that we can recycle and use it for everyday uses and save the enviroment from landfill and save animals that could be dying . using these items I made was extremely fun and easy to use and extremely fashionable .
