The fortress has high walls with guard post’s positioned on the edges of them: the building has two floors with prison. In the center is the central tower while in the south there is a three - level building that has a wide view of Finalborgo, the hills that surround it and even the sea. The fort was abandoned by the Spaniards in 1707, it was destroyed by the Genovese two years later and then it was completely renovated.
