He was known for his use of Regionalism or Local Color, as well as his satire.&nbsp; Nearly 100 years later, author Bill Bryson utilized similar techniques. Both men employed dialect, satire, and Local Color to create humorous stories that examined everyday life. These techniques are apparent in Twain’s “The Notorious Jumping Frog of Calaveras County” and Bryson’s <em>The Life and Times of the&nbsp; Thunderbolt Kid.</em></div><div><br>&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
