Sara - About me

My name is Sara. I'm 17 years old and I live in a little town of Asturias called Pola de Laviana, in Spain.

I have long straight black hair. I usually wear my hair down because I don't like ponytails. I wear glasses since I was 12 years old. I'm fair-skinned, but when I go to sunbathe in the sun, it becomes olive very quickly. I'm short, but I have a friend that is even shorter than me!

I live with my father and my mother in a flat. I don't have any brothers or sisters, but one of my cousins is like a big sister to me. It's 3 years older than me, and when I was a child I used to play with her all the time. Now, she is studying Chemistry at University, and she is always very busy. I'm still seeing her a lot because she visits me sometimes. She is very intelligent and she always helps me if I have a problem!

I'm very shy. I'ts very difficult for me to talk to people I don't know, or with people I see only now and then. When I meet someone new for me, I hardly speak, but when I feel more confident I talk a lot, like a parrot! My friends tell me that I'm very funny and reliable. I'm helpful and I love supporting my friends if I can. I'm also very stubborn and when I have a goal, I don't stop until I achieve it!

I've loved videogames since I was little. My favourite ones are “Final Fantasy IX”, “The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time” and “Bioshock Infinite”. I also love reading books. I can spend all the day reading. My favourite writer is Gabriel García Márquez, and my favourite books are “Cien años de Soledad” (from Márquez) and “The Catcher in the Rye” (from J.D. Salinger). I like movies too. My favourite film so far is “La La Land”, and my favourite actress is Emma Stone. Other movies I like are “2001: a Space Odyssey”, “Annie Hall”, “Birdman” and “Whiplash”. I'd like to play the piano, but I've never had time to learn.

When I finish my studies here, I'd like to study Physics at University, and then, when I finish there, I'd like to become an astro-physic and work at NASA, or be a theoretical physic and work in the CERN. I know it won't be easy, but I'll try. I love space, and I have some informative books about it. My favourite one is “The Universe in your Hand”. His writer is French, so maybe you know it!

My name is Daniel. I´m 16 years old and I live in Pola de Laviana, Asturias.
I am not tall, my height is 1m 70cm, that it is an averageheight. My hair isn´t very long, because I don´t like very long hair. The color of my hair is dark brown and it is very straight. My body isn´t very athleticbut I´m very healthy because I practise sports evens week.

I am very shy, because when I meet a person, I am difficult to talk to them at the beginning. I am also serious and reliable because I can keep my friends secrets.

I don´t have any brothers and sisters, there are three people, my father, my mother, and I. My mother, Margarita, has a shop of homein our village. My father José Manuel, is a houses painter. We have a pet, a small dog. It is 7 years and is very active and playful.

With regards to my friends, we don´t meet because we have to study very hard. When we meet, we talk about our lives and we laugh much

My hobbies are mainly sports. I like to watch all sports(football, basketball, tennis, cycling...) and I practise tennis. Even I go to class with a private trainer in our village.

In the future, I will go to university, and I hope to study Biology, because it is my favourite subject. Other options are Medicine or Biotechnology, but the mark needed to get in is too high. After University, I hope to work.

My name is María, I'm 17 years old and I live in Laviana, a small village in Asturias, Spain.
I'm about 1'72 metres tall, so I'm one of the tallest girls in my class. I have long straight brown hair, my eyes are brown too, but they are usually covered by a pair of black glasses.
I consider myself a shy person, it's not easy for me to make new friends.
I live with my parents and my brother. My dad is an administrative, he's also a basketball trainer in the club of my town. My mum has got a clothes shop. My brother is 3 years younger than me, he loves playing basketball, and plays in the club of my town and in the regional team, he also goes to the swimming pool like me.
I have a lot of friends and I enjoy meeting them. I met most of them playing basket because they either play with or against me.
I have some hobbies, basketball is one of them. I have been playing basketball for ten years, this year I have changed playing for training. I'll train the youngest children of the club. Apart from this, I'm "oficial de mesa" and I do matches in the weekends. Another of my hobbies is going to the swimming pool. I go there 3 times a week and I really enjoy it. Another one is reading books, I love it. Finally, I go to an art class and I also love drawing at home.
Now I'm studying 2º Bach., the last year at high school. I'd like to continue studying but I haven't decided what yet; I think I might do something connected to computers or graphic design.

Hello, my name is Juan, I'm 17 years old and I live in Asturias.

I comsider myself a fun, cheerful guy, I am patiencial and calm and I'm phisically tall, brown and green eyes and brown hair.

In my family we are 4, mi father, my mother, my little brother and me. With my little brother who is called Jorge I have a very good relationship, he is 10 years old and he loves football, he does not miss a game of his favourite team. Although we sometimes fight, I love him very much.

My hobbies are sports and hanging out whith my friends. When I was little I practiced karate but I didn't practise it now, them I played socer in a club and now I play sports on my own.

I do not know what my future plans are, I'd like to continue studying but I do not know what I want to study so I want to finish this year and look for something that I like.

If I don't study a career one of the things that I would like to be is National Police.

Hi, my name is laura an I´m 17 years old. I am brunette and my hair isn´t very long. I love my eyes because they are blue and that is my favourite colour. Besides, everybody tells me they are really beautiful!

I think I am a nice girl, and I´m friendly too. I love meeting my friends and talking to them. I also think that I am a bit shy when I don´t known people, but then I am extrovert and talkative.

In my family there are five people, my parents, Juan and Sara, my sister, Loli, and her boyfriend, Roberto. I love my family because they are very funny and they are always there when I need them. But whom I most love is my sister, because she is my best friend. I can trust her and tell her everything; sometimes I miss her because she lives in Blimea, a small village just 3km from Laviana, so it is not too bad.

I have two dogs, and I like walking my dogs, they are very beautiful and big. I also listen to music all the time and I like singing although I sing badly.

In the future, I hope to study to be a vet. I know it will be difficult to be accepted because a high mark is required but I will certainty mark an effort and try. I love animals!

Hello, i'm Johan, I'm 16 and I live near montmirail in a country side with a lot of cows. I'm not tall or small, just in the middle (1.70). I have black hair and I'm a little tanned because I've algerian origins. I was born on 26/02/2001.
I have one brother and one sister. I have a normal family, no problems juste happiness. I'm very peacful and friendly because I like speaking or joking. I can't be serious for a long time. anyway but I enjoy Chocapic a lot. I live in a boarding school so I can only see my family at the week-end.

Hi ! I'm Karyne, 15 years old well i gonna be 16 soon. I live in Saint-Just a small village with forest next to it.

I have short brown hair, glasses and green eyes. I'm not a short person but not very tall either. I have my own fashion style because i don't follow the general trend.

I'm a happy person. I don't care about what others think about me only sometimes, like when i have to talk in front of class i'm really stressed and afraid. I can be really easy irritated when someone say like "I don't care, that stupid" and other things. I'm a patient person except when someone walks too slow. I'm really creative and too much in my buble. I'm a big child too and when i talk about something i love, i screamed a lot because I get excited.

I live with my parents, before with my older sister but she left because of her studies. I have two older brothers too, one with a girlfriend and two little daughters and the other one lives alone. I'm not really close to them. But i'm really close to my two nieces and my prefer cousin.

I love my friens, we are really close with my best friend and I like spending time with her. But with other too. We walk in the street, eat a lot and laugh really easily.

My hobbies are writing, singing (not really well but i love it), dancing, reading, watching movie, and sleeping. My favorite movie is "How To Train Your Dragon" (1 & 2). Toothless is so cute !!! I have the first 6 books, who writing by Cressida Cowell. I love manga ( i have 219 mangas). I don't have a favorite novels but I like "Trollhunter" ( and the serie too) and "The Immortal Rules" by Julie Kagawa. I love detective series and novels too.

I want to be a writer. But in France we don't have courses for this so I'm sad. I don't really know what to do next to that. Maybe a policewoman ? Because i know it's not like in movie.

Hi, my name is Ilana. I'm 16 years old, my birthday is on June, 16th and I live in Tréfols. I have long brown, wavy hair. I am of average height. My friends and family say I am temperamental and funny. I am shy sometimes.

I live with my parents, sister and brother. My sister is 18 so she has an apartment in Reims but she comes back at the weekend. My brother is 10. My name is Paula, and I am 17 years old. I live in Pola de Laviana, Asturias with my parents.

Pola de Laviana is a beautiful town, I live here since I was a little with my mother and my father, altought I live away from the center. When I was younger I had a dog, her name was Basy, but she died when I was 6 years old. Since this moment my mum never let me have a other dog because I was one week crying for her.
I'm a very sociable person, I love making more friends. My best friend is my mother, I talk with her everyday at all hours, I tell her the things that happen to me and I ask her when I need help.
