She explained that her husband had a surgery at the Sherbrooke Hospital and now he needs to have care at the regular health services clinic, but that the request had probably been sent to the CLSC in Montreal, since their main address was in Montreal and they had a second home in Sutton. I had to help her call the Sherbrooke Hospital so that they could fax the request to the CLSC in Sutton so I can give an appointment and that the patient could receive care.

Situation 2: At the Cowansville CLSC, a man came to the reception desk to talk to me about his brother, because he was very worried about his health and safety. He explained that his brother was confused, walking around naked, putting cigarettes in the microwave and was afraid he might set the apartment on fire. So he wanted to talk to a social worker at the psychosocial reception. I had to follow the procedure so that he could be taken into the care of a social worker immediately.

I play the piano.
