This myth connects to the word, Narccasist, meaning, " a person who is overly self- involved, and often vain and selfish". THis word relates to many of the actions taken place in the myth. Narcissus whos name relates to the definiton, was self obsessed and rude, just as the definition describes. He takes many conceitted and self-obsorbed actions, one being that he turned down Echo simply because he loved himself more than anyone else in the world.
