One of my main sources of wisdom comes from my relationship with God. I value our relationship and believe he laid a path out for me and is calling me to work with his children and serve in the healthcare.

The people that inspire, encourage, and mentor me the most is who I would bring to my table. This is all the people who influence and help guide me. This include my family, my friends, and even professors I have.

I am very patient and engaging. I always tend to be in a lighthearted environment making everything at ease and fun. This is a strength along with patience especially with my vocation. Dental offices are very intimidating so it is important to work alongside the patient to be less fearful and feel comforted/uplifted.

My passion

My passion is to work in a science environment to help others. I think providing genuine care to others will bring me success to my life. This has always felt like my calling from God. I would like to use my skills as well as my strengths to succeed. I always get second guessed by others with my vocation since "they will scream, cry, be scared". Although I understand this, instead of being a set back that is what drives me to this career to be able to help. I take this as a challenge to use my strengths of patience and understanding to provide the correct and proper care.

Opportunity influences

I have had several opportunities to shadow along side dentist. I have shadowed general dentist, orthodontics, pediatric dentists, and oral surgeons. Having such the opportunity I have gotten a strong insight into the dental field. Each Doctor has help be a mentor and advocator to their career. The engagement with patients and the supportive environment influenced me.
