The tower is 324 meters (1,063 ft) tall, which is the tallest structure in Paris.  Visit Palace of Versailles  in the afternoon. Palace of Versailles was the Principal residence of the royals in France from 1682- to the start of the French revolutionary war. It has a garden with fountains, canals, and geometric flower beds and groves, laid out by André le Nôtre. To get to Palace of Versailles from the Effiel tower you need to go by train.  The train take about an hour and its 7,1€. D
