         <description><![CDATA[<div>Human beings are vertebrates and placental mammals.<br>One of the features that most distinguishes humans from other mammals is<br>language, an ability that allows us to transmit and accumulate knowledge and<br>experiences.<br>Human babies are born completely developed but, in contrast to other mammals,<br>they are totally defenceless. They need to be looked after by adults for many years.<br><br>As a species we have some particular caracteristics:<br>• We have little hair on our bodies. It is only plentiful in certain areas, such as our<br>heads.<br>• Females develop mammary glands, which are located in the breasts.<br>• Our skin has many sweat glands. Sweating helps us reduce our body temperature.<br>• We walk on our two back limbs, our legs; we are bipeds.
