It is also worth spending 30 mins after the session reflecting on what went well and whether you would do anything differently if you were to help out again in the future

Ask school staff whether you can help out at any upcoming open days/open evenings in the science, maths or IT department (or in engineering or medicine if your school runs a subject/after school club in these areas)

You could create an information stand about what the subject involves at school, what you like about studying that subject and what that subject can lead to in the future

This would help develop your confidence and communication skills and potentially teamwork

You could take a picture of the stand or any preparation you do to upload to your portfolio as evidence
