the possibility for protein based drugs that could help millions of people, is so cool to think about, and because they can survive for very long without their "food" makes it so there aren't very many long term harmful effects. What could change our minds is if they weren't able to control the adverse affects, like with the human cell, where the protein works with one part but is toxic to another.

me and jasleen both agree that manmade DNA would be a good idea especially to target certain illnesses. we both agreed that evolution is a valuable part of life and making things to combat illnesses is a huge part of how we can all evolve as humans.

we both think cultivation when it comes to meat is a good idea, I brought up the topic of macromolecules and how they are important, I think personally adding more nutrients for fats and proteins would be better for people who are deficient in certain food groups. the only issue we both had was how they are able to protect the meat from harmful bacteria considering meat has to be handled in certain ways.
