It even persuaded President Barrack Obama to make a 9/11 Memorial Museum. The speech was given by Phyllis, the mother of a 9/11 victim, and Aisha, the mother of a convicted terrorist. They both were holding hands during the speech and talked about their ability to forgive and become friends. This was a great way to show people that it is possible to get over differences in the world and that life is to short to have enemies. She actually went onto an active minefield and checked out what a landmine does and how it works. This moment was documented by cameras and it was a great thing for her to do, to show that this is a big deal to her and that she cares a lot about this situation. Even though she wants to ban landmines, as she thinks it is a horrible weapon, she is willing to reason with them and check out the landmines. This speech was a great impact because they did, in fact take down the wall. The best, most memorable moment was when Ronald Reagan said, "Tear down this wall"! Lots of people were moved by this inspirational speech, which had great points on why they shouldn't be divided into two cities. This was very inspirational because he teaches people that people should support other countries because we should all be friends and not fight against each other.
