Students practiced to use can and can't to talk about ability.
Students practiced talking about likes and dislikes using verbs in the present continuous form.

Language focus: Present continuous forms. Students practiced applying the spelling rules for adding -ing to verbs.

Students will review verbs in the present continuous and the spelling rules for verbs + ing.

Maths - Current week

Students continued with Unit 2 - Geometry
Students reviewed the properties of the shapes - vertices (the corners), faces (the 2D shapes we see in 3D shapes), and edges (where the 2D shapes meet).
Students started to look at fractions of 2D shapes.
Students practiced identifying quarters (1/4, 3/4) and halves (1/2).
Students practiced to identify fractions of everyday objects (example: half of a pizza).
Lesson 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3 in the books.

Maths - Next week

Students will continue with Unit 2 - Geometry
Students will focus on identifying fractions of shapes and objects.
Students will focus on how to write fractions.
Students will review content from Unit 2.

Students reviewed content from Unit 2 to recap what we have learnt about forces so far.
