 Hope that all the topics reviewed during these two years
about Business and Marketing will be useful for your studies (and life). And
most importantly, hope that you have enjoyed my classes (or at least some of
them). I must tell you that I have really enjoyed teaching you.
 Coming back to the course, please note that the power point
of our last topic, e-commerce, has been uploaded in the padlet. Within this
file you can also check the answers to the activities you have had to work out
(please Zhenya review this file, as you missed our last class).
 On the other hand, I am going to upload another power point
file about Digital Marketing. This topic was not included in the syllabus,
however it covers the most recent facts, so I thought It would be of interest
for you (Zhenya, we started this topic in the second period of our last class).
In this power point, I include a few activities that we will do in our next
class.
 Lastly, I would like to request you to write something in the
padlet about the subject, the course or any other issue you may consider.

Hi, its Evelina. Sorry it took so long for me to find and post this, but here's the information about e-commerce in Kazakhstan from the last lesson.

Revenue in the whole e-commerce market of Kazakhstan amounted to 129 billion tenge in 2014 (710.7 million US dollars) and about 194 billion tenge (601 million US dollars) in 2015. that is, in tenge terms, the e-commerce market capacity grew by 50%, while in 2015 the US market lost 15% in US dollars.

And now about the 2017th. According to this material, the size of the e-commerce market in 2016 in Kazakhstan amounted to 226.4 billion tenge (about 660 million US dollars). The year on year growth in the national currency market was 45.4%. The e-commerce market share of retail turnover is 10%

Preferences of Kazakhstan online shoppers are also interesting to explore. Clothing, shoes and accessories are leading here (56.8%), food is in second place (20.8%), and medicine are third (12%). Most online purchases are characterized by an average check in the range from 5 to 25 thousand tenge. The share of average checks up to 5 thousand tenge - 18.3%. From 25 to 50 thousand tenge - 19.2%, and over 50 thousand - 12.1% .

Thanks for the information posted in our padlet. Basically, the information shows that the Kazakh market if growing, as we expected, and the yearly growth is really high. 
Moreover, the total online sales in percentage over the total retail sales is very high (10%). I thought it would be a much lower figure.
