They analyzed news headlines circulating on social media to distinguish between true and false information. Working in groups, they applied verification methods such as source reliability, date checking, and cross-referencing. They labeled the headlines with green and red stickers and created a classroom board. Each group presented their findings, and differing opinions were discussed. Through this activity, students improved their critical thinking skills and became more aware of the importance of verifying information to prevent the spread of misinformation.
