There is multiple eye catching points like the photo realistic images used of real life humans & the images of of grey-faced people known as Zombies. There are images of cosmetic items as in weapons that the 3 main protagonists are holding to represent the serious tone the film wants to carry. The zombies outside the posters emphasis show that they are the enemies of the film as their movements are aimed towards the protagonists in a  sign of redemption. Another key purpose to this film poster is the quotation used at the bottom of the poster to emphasise how good the film actually is.

The style/ layout of the film poster shows everything important about the film both on the inside & outside backgrounds. The outside background always has least interesting vocals unlike the inside; but this film uses the background as an opportunity to spread it pointers, its a film full of zombies. The inner background has all the main imagery & text features to represent the advertisement of the film. The selling point is below the film cast stating 'This September Aim For The Head' to spread awareness of the film releasing that month as well as being a catchphrase for this film. There's a quotation out in the posters emphasis stating a credible source of information about the product; this source states the film is 'An Absolute Blast' meaning its a blast of emotions type of film. Then comes the less known & cared about information in the actors & overall film creators behind Shaun Of The Dead.
