Mental and physical resilience to endure whatever challenges come their way, especially those that are unpredictable as childhood can be a sheltered period
Bravery to communicate meaningfully with people they do not know, to initiate such interactions in a way that affirms/assures other but also renews their own self-confidence
Self-management especially when they need to multi-task as they are bombarded with a lot of information. The younger generation has a tendency to procrastinate when anxiety creeps in when they feel they have so much to manage!

Need to teach students how to think critically. When given a set of information, what are the parts which are relevant to what they need for the decision making. Will also need to know how to differentiate whether the sources of information are reliable. In addition, with presence of AI, it is important for us to guide students on the importance of integrity and pride in creating our own work.

Short term vs Long term

Important to contextualise with students how the language skill is not only for upcoming exams but also for life.

Potential gaps

Between SOW and classroom transference (without understanding intent of lesson may become a "paper exercise" to just carry out instructions)
No one-size-fits-all resource, so there should be another stage of individual preparation for classroom use.

We have existing TLGs but we don't have the opportunity to really look through them and put them together with the SOW (so we don't have to look for the resources from multiple places).

Moving forward, we will attempt to weave the TLGs together with the SOWs so that we can raise awareness of the teachers of the guides and make it a one stop.
