1-To compare wedding traditions and practices in different countries.
2-To practise the language needed to talk about weddings.
3-Practise the proper use of modal verbs like Have to/ don’t have to. Can/can’t. Must/ don’t have to and so on.

wedding? Are most weddings ‘traditional’?
2-The teacher elicits from the students what they know about weddings in
other countries.
3-Students and teacher revise the wedding vocabulary already discussed: bride/groom, guests, wedding reception, hen night, stag night.
4-The teacher puts students in groups and asks them to agree on a country to research. The teacher sends them to some of the Websites the teacher has found to gather information about weddings in their chosen country. The teacher asks students to complete the worksheet.
5-The students present their findings to the rest of the class and discuss them. Did they find anything unexpected?
6- Then students exchange the actions that can or can’t be done in the wedding they have chosen, or what is forbidden.
