The Sixties
The 1960's was a decade that began on January 1st, 1960, and ended on December 31st 1969. This decade is known specially by the counterculture or revelation of social norms about music, clothing, drugs, sexuality, etc, which some would describe as irresponsible excess, flamboyance and lack of social order.
This decade is also labeled as "The Swinging Sixties", due to the fall of social taboos, specifically around the racism and sexism that occurred during this time.

Mexico's most disastrous earthquake happened in September 19th, 1985, at 7:17 in the morning, reaching 8.1 points on the Richter scale.
Mexico City was the most affected state, since the whole city was built on top of a lake. Also, the people there were not ready and didn't know how to react to a natural disaster that big.
We still don't know exactly how many people died or got injured that day, but numbers say over 3100 people died and over 250 000 families lost their home and private properties.
By the time the earthquake happened, there were absolutely no rules, laws, or any othe kind of emergency protocole for natural disasters, which is why so many people died that day: nobody knew exactly what to do. The country was so not prepared for this, that the president took 36 hours to start giving orders to find the lost people and clean up the mess the earthquake had left.
But not all was lost, since the government took so long to respond, the population began looking for lost people, helping the injured, taking care of lonely children and so.
It is true that Mexico's earthquake was a tragedy

So, I was on fifth grade and I used to have this particularly... weird friend. Don't get me wrong, she was cool and all, but she was not like the rest of us.
Anyways, I forgot her name. She was cool, that's the point.
So, once, we were on recess, we were having lunch and everything was great. But, out of nowhere, this girls takes out a cucumber out of her backpack. Yup, a cucumber. Not cucumber slices, not cucumber water. Just a plain, whole cucumber.
Don't ask, I have no idea, either.
We didn't question it a lot, we just kinda laughed it off and kept eating.
Recess was over and we went back to our clases, let me remind you the cucumber is still there. So my "special friend" turns to me and says: "Could you take care of it for me?" while handing me the cucumber.
What?
I know, I know... Anyways, I just smiled at her and said: "Yeah, why not?".
I mean, you gotta take opportunities, am I right?
I was bored, so I decided that it would be "oh, so funny" to draw a happy face on it. Surprise, surprise: it was hilarious.
Fifth period was over and we went out to recess again, this time, with our new friend, Pete the Cucumber. (I'm honestly not making this up, it happened. I'm sorry)
I don't know exactly how or why, but we ended up losing Pete, which was a true tragedy, to be honest. After that, we just kinda forgot about the whole cucumber thing and went back to our classroom.
But it was not over. Little did we know: Pete would make a comeback.
It was our last period, we were ready to go back to our homes, when the principal of our school bursted into the classroom, asking for, and I quote, "the owner of that green-smiley-thingy". On his hand: Steve.
Obviously, all my friends were too embarrased to say anything, s, guess what? Lil' Julie had to stand up and accept that I had drawn a smiley face on a cucumber for the fun of it.
The end.
Yay.
