In collaborazione con le Unità nazionali di Paesi aderenti all’azione, l’Unità nazionale eTwinning Italia organizza dal 11 al 13 Aprile 2023 a Reggio Emilia un seminario multilaterale dedicato a docenti di scuola dell’infanzia, dove verrà data l’occasione di visitare il Reggio Children – Centro Internazionale Loris Malaguzzi, un centro internazionale ed un’eccellenza italiana per la difesa e la promozione dei diritti dei bambini nato per valorizzare e rafforzare l’esperienza dei nidi e delle scuole d’infanzia nel contesto regionale conosciuto in Italia e nel mondo come Reggio Emilia Approach®.

L’”Educazione e cura nella prima infanzia” (ECEC – Early Childhood Education and Care) è una delle priorità europee per il periodo 2021-2030, nell’ambito del quadro strategico dello spazio europeo dell’istruzione.

Un’educazione della prima infanzia di alta qualità getta le basi per un futuro sviluppo personale positivo, in termini di istruzione, occupabilità, integrazione sociale e benessere; in questo contesto anche eTwinning ha il compito di promuovere iniziative di collaborazione europea per una didattica innovativa rivolte ai docenti della prima infanzia.

We celebrated the 1st Day of European Authors on 27th March 2023 with an online reading session at school with the Italian teachers Angela Cimino, Francesca Carito, Francesca Labonia, Maria Teresa Matacera, Antonella Sellia and our students from classes 3B, 3D and 3F.
Students from "Ivan Vazov" Language School, Plovdiv led by our great eTwinning partner and friend Maya Kyulevchieva, and ICS "V. Vivaldi", Catanzaro, partners in the eTwinning Project "Let's read together", read aloud Gianni Rodari's and Zravka Evtimova's short stories in three languages: Bulgarian, English and Italian, and commented about them, sharing their opinions and ideas. It was an inspiring and interesting experience!

Il 9 maggio celebriamo la Giornata eTwinning con una serie di attività stimolanti su innovazione e istruzione. Come tutte le comunità anche gli eTwinner hanno i loro rituali. Tra questi uno speciale è la celebrazione della Giornata eTwinning il 9 maggio!

Quest’anno gli eTwinner parteciperanno ad un conto alla rovescia di tutta la community per sette giorni fino alla Giornata eTwinning. A partire dal 2 maggio ogni giorno sarà dedicato a un’attività specifica progettata per aiutare gli insegnanti a implementare il tema annuale del 2023. Queste attività quotidiane si concentreranno dunque sulla creatività, rafforzando la comunità e incoraggiando gli insegnanti a riflettere su come portare innovazione in classe.

Qualche indizio su quali attività ci sono in serbo? Escape room, mappe interattive e attività in aula create da ambasciatori esperti.

Ogni giorno gli eTwinner possono partecipare a un webinar speciale, in cui ciascuna attività verrà presentata dagli ambasciatori. I partecipanti avranno l’opportunità di condividere i risultati delle loro esperienze interagendo con i loro pari.

La prima parte di ogni evento sarà dedicata alla discussione delle attività incluse nel conto alla rovescia, mentre la seconda parte sarà uno spazio interattivo per giochi, riflessioni e momenti di divertimento tra pari.

L'I.C. "V. Vivaldi" di Catanzaro è di nuovo Scuola eTwinning! Scuole eTwinning 2023/24, la lista degli istituti vincitori del riconoscimento.

Le scuole italiane si confermano sinonimo di eccellenza europea per la didattica innovativa a distanza, ottenendo ancora un risultato di primo piano nel riconoscimento europeo “Scuola eTwinning / eTwinning School” 2023/2024.

La certificazione (biennale) è relativa ai risultati raggiunti da docenti e studenti delle scuole attraverso la piattaforma europea eTwinning, e vuole premiare l’innovazione mostrata dalle scuole più virtuose in ambiti della didattica tra cui: pratica digitale, eSafety, approcci creativi e innovativi alla pedagogia, promozione dello sviluppo continuo delle competenze di docenti e studenti.

In totale le scuole europee premiate sono state 4.485, l’esito è il risultato di una selezione gestita dalla Commissione europea e dall’Unità europea eTwinning.

Quanto ai dati nazionali, sono 307 gli istituti riconosciuti per il biennio 2023/2024.

Il 23 maggio, dalle 16:30 alle 18:00 circa è in programma il webinar "Europeana ed eTwinnig: progetti Europei cross-curricolari", rivolto a docenti e dirigenti scolastici di ogni materia e di ogni ordine e grado scolastico.

Science is a work in progress. It is based on observation, continuous research and experimentation. A scientific approach to reality since early infancy is a necessary step towards a critical thinking building-up process.
By some scientific tests, children discovered Water, the main element of the sea. They also made outdoor labs at the beach which gave them the opportunity to know the marine ecosystem and practice environmental stewardship.

The Odyssey cartoon is one of the activities made for “Mare Nostrum” E-Twinning project.
Children, helped by teachers, have drawn the characters by using shapes (a circle for the head, a rectangle for the body, etc…) and then coloured.
The cartoon “scenery” was made from recyclable materials: paper, plastic…
After reading Ulysses’ journey adventures in our class, the drawings were collected and animated by “Stop Motion”.

Caretta Caretta is an imaginary multilingual tale where English, Greek and Italian meet in a special class of little turtles learning foreign languages, under the Mediterranean Sea.
The story is the result of cooperation between Greek and Italian schools. The graphic was built by Greece, whereas the video editing was managed by Italy. Children’ voices were recorded and inserted in the story. Greek pupils learnt and said the Italian names of the fish-characters,
Italian pupils did the same with the Greek words.
