Reyes!! I am definitely glad that I was a part of one of the batches you taught during your stay in Woodrose. Your role as an educator and chaplain in my life as a student was very memorable, and I learned a lot from you. 

Until today, one of my most vivid memories as your student was when I fell asleep in the middle of class, and had to stand at the back for a certain amount of time. I initially felt bad (but at the same time knew I deserved it) when that happened, but outside of class, you asked me to go to your office, where you apologised and gave me chocolate. Since I fell asleep in class, I didn't think it was necessary at the time. But since you were also our school chaplain, I eventually understood the kind of balance you needed to have in that role while being an educator. Thank you for that, I appreciated it a lot. I wasn't the most faithful nor disciplined student back in Woodrose, but I found myself growing out of that during my time in Ateneo. I found myself turning to mentors in Daniw, as well as desiring to turn towards the Lord more. I have my educators in Woodrose, you being a part of it, to thank for that.

I hope you still remember me! :) It's been a while since my last visit to Woodrose, and I never really got the chance to thank my high school teachers and mentors for the all the advice and guidance. So, I am very glad that I have this opportunity to tell you that I feel very blessed to have had you as a teacher and school chaplain. Until now, I still find myself looking back at old notes I made from your homilies, meditation, & retreat lectures- it's what now guides me when I get overwhelmed and frustrated with life. I just want to thank you for all that you've done for Woodrose. You've given so much time and effort to make students, teachers, staff, and their families see and understand the beauty of our faith. You've found new ways to help people in their spiritual lives. It's amazing how much one person can affect so many others!

Thank you for all that you've taught us in Moral Theology. As an alumni, I really think that class is what kept me grounded throughout my college journey. When I look back at those years, I realized how much I learned from you in our classes and your meditations every Friday at Narra! You helped prepare us for World Youth Day and ultimately for life beyond the brick walls. It is definately a challenge, but thanks to you, it's a bit easier to navigate.

I'm sure all the batches you've taught in Woodrose are very grateful for all that you've taught us. Thank you so much for never giving up on our batch no matter how crazy we were!

Thank you so much for contributing to my spiritual formation in Woodrose. I wholeheartedly believe that it's your teachings from Moral Theology class that have guided the course of my actions ever since I graduated. Thank you for always striving to expand our worlds a little more by daring to open our minds to consider all the things we had previously understood were "taboo" in the effort to give us a true and holistic education. I'll never forget the lessons and classes amidst the joking and occasional awkwardness, because it was these things that made me trust in myself to live my life as honorable to my learnings as possible. Thank you also for being very open with me when I occasionally went for spiritual direction. You've saved my soul and I can't express how grateful I am enough. You will definitely be missed in Woodrose, but I do hope our paths can cross once again someday in the future. We love you, Father Reyes, and God bless you on the new path ahead!

I hope you're doing well and that you're excited for the beginning of a new adventure in UA&P! I'm not sure if you remember but I was one your students who fell asleep in class and got sent out 😅 Although terrifying at the time, it honestly prepared me for college's much tougher obstacles and is also a great story to tell and laugh at! I will always look up to you and admire how learned you are in the faith! I recall there was this one time in college where I was faced with a professor who was lacking in understanding of the faith and his teachings. At that time, the only person who I could think of who could properly refute his incorrect teachings was you! Thank you for always being open to my questions and for being a teacher to me even outside of Woodrose!
