Fun fact Beethoven had composed his piece, Wellington's Victory, to be played on this organ. This was one of the first automatic playing machines and could imitate all instruments and sound effects like gunfire and cannon shots. A possible disadvantage of this machine would be that due to its big size it was not portable and required lots of time and materials to make therefore costing quite a bit. This invention was amazing it many aspects compared to its predecessor the wax cylinders as they took up less space on shelves meaning you were able to store more of them. However one of their major disadvantages was that they were prone to scratches which led to the music being  played back badly.

The Tape Cassette is an analog magnetic tape recording format for audio recording and playback. This invention allowed for unlimited playback of audio and was portable, meaning you were able to bring them with you anywhere and fit many in your bag without worrying if they would break as it was made of sturdy material. It's only disadvantage was that the cassette players tended to be much heavier in the earlier years. The only disadvantage is the cost and the need to charge your device after a while. Digital Audio Streaming via your personal device e.g your phone is full of many advantages such as amazing sound quality, access to unlimited ranges of songs and of course portable.
