However, after research I've found that it's not only quite effective it also uses drastically less space than renewable sources. 93 reactors producing 18% of America's electricity while only needing 1 mile to operate. With the primary issue being nuclear waste as it's very sensitive to the environment and people. Natural disasters, container degradation, and individuals can damage nuclear waste storage and have it pollute the environment. However, recent Finland projects have found a permanent solution by storing it at Bedrock. Despite producing massive amounts of carbon-free power, nuclear energy produces more electricity on less land than any other clean-air source.
