Bill Cosby who is a comedian was recently convicted numerous cases of drugging and raping women. Like the quote from Macbeth, he went about his life even though he had committed these horrible crimes. Until these accusations arose he seemed like a very likable person and these crimes show how he was hiding behind a mask.

2. The O.J. Simpson murder case is also another example of hiding behind false claims. In the murder case, O.J. Simpson is accused of murdering his wife and has surmounting evidence against him but still claims to be innocent and ends up getting away with it. This is significant because it shows how some people can claim that certain things aren't true and get away with it even though they are clearly lying/wrong like how Macbeth blames Duncan's murder on the guards even though he knows it not to be true.

3. Another case would be when Bill Clinton lied about having an affair when in court and committed perjury.
