1. Listen to what the learners are telling you.
2. Look for the spaces that open up to facilitate inspiration, imagination, innovation and change.
3. Get the best people involved and train/encourage/challenge them to keep getting better.

Invest in technology to enhance learning and engage staff and pupils. Train them how to use it effectively; empower them to then do so.

The lack of IT resources and training in many settings continues to be an issue, which ignores obvious pupil engagement and interest in technology (listen to what the learners are saying!). Blended learning must become common practice, but this is not possible without appropriate support and investment for practitioners and pupils alike.

Support staff to implement extra provisions to inspire pupils to build personal growth through self activities or provisions such as nurture groups for ASC pupils ie lego therapy, SEN pupils for example Friday lunch film clubs to build social skills and positive relationships to enhance their individual well being.

Are the foundations for building a connection and foundation for teaching and learning to take place for both adults and children. 

Dr Becky Bailey has a successful, powerful program called Conscious Discipline based in America. However I feel that this program and many similar to it should be the back bone of our education system.
