I chose the "Reflect and Convey" habit of mind because my goal is to be able to convey all of the emotions expressed in Taylor Swift's lyrics through photographs, and simultaneously the lyrics immense impact on fans. I am passionate about this project because Taylor Swift is my favorite singer, and her music has helped and supported me throughout different phases of my life. I have been looking forward to attending one of her concerts all my life and being able to document this core memory makes it even more exciting.

Where did you first see/hear about this type of work?
I was first introduced and familiarized to concert photography after Harry Style's 2021 Love On Tour photography by Anthony Pham. Pham posted a picture every night of tour documenting Harry on stage, getting ready, or interacting with other band members, and these authentic images sparked my interest in concert photography.

What brings you joy/happiness about this project?
Being able to take creative photos of a concert I have been looking forward to all my life, with my best friends, brings me an immense amount of joy.

What do they make? Lloyd photographs an array of different subjects, including landscapes, portraits, and concerts, but most recently has been on Love On Tour 2022-23 with Harry Styles photographing him.

Why is their work important to YOUR passion project? Their work is important to my project because I was first introduced to his photography through concert images posted on Harry Style's Instagram. The unique perspectives and dramatic lighting are what I hope to accomplish in my concert photos of Taylor Swift to convey her genuine and authentic persona.
