Plot:
Jonas lives in a "perfect" society without colors, war, or emotion. At age 12 he is given the title Receiver of Memory when he learns about the world outside from an elderly man named called the Giver. He also learns about death, which nobody in the society knows about. Jonas and the Giver devise a plan to free the society from its structure and bring the memories back to people. Jonas risks his life to escape and release the memories. 

Evaluation and conclusion:
This is a very complicated story with lots of hidden meanings. It may be a warning against the idea of a "utopian" society because there is no such thing as a perfect society, and some people's ideas of perfect societies take away freedoms from other people. It's also about how important all emotions are, even bad ones, because they make the good ones that much more precious. I would recommend this book to anyone, especially if they are considering going into politics. 

Plot:
Stanley Yelnats is punished for a crime he did not commit because his great-great grandfather was cursed. He goes to Camp Green Lake, where the Warden forces all of the campers to dig holes. Stanley and his friend Zero realize the Warden is looking for something, probably buried treasure. When they run away from the camp, they learn about the story of Kate Barlow, an outlaw who killed people and robbed Stanley's great-grandfather. Stanley and Zero return to camp and find the treasure. Stanley is proven innocent and released from camp.

Evaluation and conclusion:
I think people of all ages should read this book. It is funny, sad, and has an unexpected plot twist. I like the way the different stories in the present and the past weave together. Reading Holes will make you think about what is bad luck and good luck, and may change your perspective. 

Plot:
Annemarie Johansen and Ellen Rosen are best friends and always walk to school together. When the Nazis start shutting Jewish businesses down and question the girls as they walk to school, the Rosen family realizes they must flee. The Johansens help them escape through a clever plan to hide them in a coffin and put them in Henrik's boat that he sails to Sweden. Along the way, Annemarie learns about the courage of the resistance fighters and the sacrifices her family has made.

Evaluation and conclusion
This is partly a historical fiction book because it contains elements of the true story of the war in Denmark, even though the characters did not actually exist. I would highly recommend this book because it puts you in the shoes of people who lived through the terror of the Nazis. It is also a story about the power of friendship, and anyone who has had a best friend can relate to the love between Ellen and Annemarie.

Summary: In hello Neighbor Nicky tries to convince his friends that his friend aron is still alive because he keeps finding clues that lead to the kidnapping lie flashing lights in his window and weird notes in the streets. So he tried to convince his friend but they did not believe him so he investigates.

Characters: Nicky is the main character he lives with his mom and dad with no siblings. He was affected very badly by his best friend's kidnapping. Niky has a group of friends who call themselves ETU which stands for engineering the universe but they are not too supportive of what Nicky thinks about the kidnapping.

Plot: Nicky once saw Mr pederson dig a hole and put something suspicious in and buried it with a lot of dirts so one night he ventured out into Mr Pederson's yard and dug up a bag of old smashed VHS tapes so he prepared them and what he saw gave him clues on the question of is his friends still alive.

Evaluation: I thought it was a pretty good book its easy to read and not to long very exciting and thrilling I would give it a 7/10.

Summary: James Henry Trotter's parents got eaten by a rhino, so, James had to live with his two aunts that are really mean. James got bad with worms that would make him the luckiest boy, but worms go into the ground causing a peach tree to give a giant peach with giant insects inside of it. James went inside the peach and found insects and made them his friends.  The peach rolled down big hill that they used to live on, only to land in the Atlantic Ocean. But James comes up with the idea to make the peach fly by attaching it to a bunch of seagulls. As they float along the sky they encounter a lot of things from cloud men to sharks, all to end up on the top of a skyscraper.

Characters: Major: James, Centipede, Ladybird, Miss Spider, Earthworm.
Characters: Minor: Glow Worm, Silk Worm, Cloud Men, Seagulls, Aunt Spiker, Aunt Sponge.

Rising Action: James has to live with his aunts. James finds the hole in the peach and climbs in.
James and his new friends roll down the hill.

Climax:James and his friends keep getting attacked by cloud men and fall onto the Empire State Building.

Falling Action: Everybody in New York thinks that the peach is a bomb but then they see that their are living things on top of it.

Resolution: Everybody of New York helps get the peach of of the Empire State Building and Everybody that was on the peach became famous.

Evaluation: I thought that the book was kind of difficult to get into and enjoy because I don't really like this style of book. I prefer realistic fiction, not adventure and fantasy.

Summary: When Frances makes sure the prince is okay, she goes off on her own path deciding what she could be while the prince is trying to feel brave about telling the world what he loves.

Characters: Frances, Sebastian, the king, the queen, the butler, princess Juliana, prince Marcel, Madame Aurelia, Peter.

Plot: The prince wants to be a princess, to wear dresses, makeup, wigs, but he has to hide his lady like identity in Lady Christella, A beautiful...Woman.

Conclusion: Everyone accepts who the prince is and who he wants to be.

Bree Tanner has her life changed forever after encountering something that shouldn’t exist…

       Bree Tanner, who actually calls herself a “vampire nerd” lives in a gang of newborn vampz who are quite rude, and they have to go and kill the Cullens. Of course, they lose. 

      Characters: Bree, very shy, keeps to herself. Diego, calm, also keeps to himself. Fred, calm, also keeps to himself. Victoria, dangerous, bloodthirsty. Riley, obedient. 

Bree is a teenage girl who is changed into a bloodthirsty vampire by Victoria. Bree lives with a stupidiotic group of twenty other newborns and Riley, Victoria’s puppet. Riley is in charge of creating and controlling the army of newborn vampires for Victoria so that she can avenge her lover, James, whom the Cullens killed when he came after Bella in the first part of the series. However, Riley and the newborns are not aware of Victoria’s plans, and the newborns are not even allowed to know Victoria's name.

Bree lives her life in fear of the unstable, hungry newborns who attack each other for the stupidest reasons. She manages to protect herself by staying out of sight, often hiding behind a vampire who has a talent for repelling people.

Diego, another member of the gang, but much calmer and nicer than the others, befriends Bree, and she begins to have a romantic interest in him. The two hunt and work together to protect each other from the violent newborns. They discover that they have been lied to and are kept in the dark both figuratively and literally by Riley and Victoria. Bree begins to fear Riley, even more, when she learns about their purpose as an army.

Diego, who still, for some reason trusts Riley, decides to tell him about his newly found discovery that vampires do not burn in the sun and instead they just light up. Diego disappears like ‘POOF’  after talking with Riley. Bree follows the vampire gang to battle, hoping to find Diego already there. Bree soon learns that Diego was murdered brutally because of his knowledge.

After the group is defeated by the Cullens and the werewolves, Bree surrenders. Carlisle Cullen offers to teach Bree their way of life, but when the Volturi arrive, they think it would be WAY easier just to kill her after torturing her.

I personally think it's a good book, and I don't care what other people think. The reason I like the book is because Stephanie Meyer has always been a very good author in my opinion. I don’t know why, but that's just how it is.
