Through out the video, everyone is happy and they are satisfied with their lives, but as the story comes to an end , everything starts going down hill due to health issues with Ellie. At this point the tone becomes sad.

I could tell they were happy together because they were always smiling. Towards the end we could tell that the tone was sad as they got older.

Both the characters have their happy and sad moments. When they got married they spent most of time together and thought about having a family. This made them very happy. As Ellie couldn't have a baby this made them very sad. As they grew old they had a lot of different adventures. This kept them joyful. As they grew older Ellie got sick and passed away. This changed the tone from happiness to sadness.

When they were together, they hugged, danced, kissed, and smiled. This showed how happy they were. But, in the middle (when they couldn't have a baby) and the end (when Ellie died), the tone was sad because the music slowed down and wasn't as cheery, and Carl's face started to droop when they parted. Also when they were staring at the clouds, Carl was smiling as Ellie was talking about the clouds, which showed how happy the tone also was during that

WE saw that Ellie and Carl were happy because they got married and during tough circumstances they still kept each other happy . WE can tell Carl is sad because Ellie died. Carl is worried because Ellie fell down the hill and he had to take her to the hospital. At the end the scene gets darker and everyone feels very sad.
