The children learnt about Water for their inquiry project. One lesson was on Water Cycle and incidentally the day after, the weather was rainy so we went outdoors to observe the drizzle and puddles of water. This was a good opportunity for them to see how the process of evaporation, condensation and precipitation.

1. Children were asked to observe the environment and they took turns to take photos with the iPad. They also had th opportunity to hold an umbrella as they took turns to stand under the drizzle. When they went indoors, there were asked to draw their experience of holding the umbrella as they stood under the drizzle. (After a few days, they went back to the same spot to take photos. They could compare that evaporation had happened as the road was dry.)

2. Looking at the drizzle, which process did you think happened? This part of the road was wet the other day, however it is now dry. What do you think happened to the water? Can you remember how you felt when you were holding the umbrella under the drizzle?

3. The photos were compiled into Water Inquiry Slide documentation where else the art works were displayed on the walls for children to admire.
