There are various perspectives and stories but the most common one in Korea is the 'nine tailed fox sister'.The nine tailed fox disguised as a human and act friendly. Then when they get closer, it tears up the peoples' bodies and takes their liver to become a real human. They usually take it from the live body instead of the dead body because they want the fresh liver. In Korean literature, we also find it as a representation of desire and power.

Following a year of drought that left the rooster community without food, Rabbi Rooster gathered his audience and called the roosters to go to the village to find food and rest.

on their way, they found a lush barley field with plenty of food. And the roosters, ate, drank, laid eggs and raised chicks.

At the end of two months, all the roosters returned with oats in their mouths as a side for the future. Only the pesishah, low on strength, returned without oats in her mouth.

On their way appeared a young fox waiting for prey.

The fox approaches the gathering hen behind the other roosters and asks her where they came from. With her great resourcefulness, she invents a story in which she says that the roosters just defeated the foxes in a fight. She also added that the stubbles in their beaks are fox tails, a souvenir from the victory. And when the fox asks her where the fox's tail is, which indicates her victory in battle, she replies:

"Your tail is my fox,

fell in my fate,

he will be mine,

therefore now I have come out to call you,

Here I am, here I am upon you!”

The fox heard and ran away.

In the story there are allusions to familiar biblical events, the descent into Egypt in the year of famine, the exodus from Egypt and the war with Amalek who hit the tail of the Israelites' caravan in the desert. The rooster also represents the war of the weak against the strong, such as the story of David and Goliath in the Bible.

She has thick hair on half of her head and the other half is bald.  The way the myth has been passed says the way to kill her is  stabbing her shadow with a sharp weapon.

Finally, pigeon rents the apartment, even though the apartment is not to her liking, because, according to her, "the neighbors are good in her eyes."

Description and folklore

Some legends say the wendigo is a figure with ashen flesh. Others describe it as a giant creature up to 15 feet (4.5 meters) tall or as a beast that grows larger the more it eats. It may have sunken or glowing eyes and sharp yellowed fangs and claws. Its lips are chewed or entirely missing because it has eaten them. It may be hairless or have fur, and it may have pointed ears and horns or antlers like a deer. It smells of rotting flesh and is usually first detected by humans by its horrible odor.

Wendigos are believed to have exceptionally sharp eyesight, hearing, and sense of smell as well as superior strength and speed in order to stalk and overpower their victims. They live in colder climates among the woodlands and lakes of Canada and the northern United States. They can move easily through deep snow and across ice. A shaman may be the only person who can subdue and destroy a wendigo, using either a silver, steel, or iron bullet or a dagger. Some legends, however, claim the wendigo’s heart must be cut out and melted or burned in a fire before its spirit is truly destroyed.

The wendigo is sometimes described as a spirit rather than a physical presence. In Cree mythology, for example, the wendigo is believed to be an evil spirit that possesses humans. The spirit enters a person by biting him or her or through a dream. The possessed person becomes cannibalistic or otherwise deranged or violent.

Zhalmauyz Kempir is described as a witch with magic power who can change her shape at will. She is also said to be a cannibal or to suck blood like a vampire.

Unlike other witches of Kazakh folklore, such as Albasty and Zheztyrnaq, Zhalmauyz Kempir has an ambiguous role,not only of the absolute evil, but also of a kind helper, because in some cases she can be helpful to character in a fairy tale. However, in her usual depiction she acts like a witch and practices nefarious acts: being a local horror, killing people and eating human flesh, kidnapping children.
