I believe that expend my vocabulary can be an effective way to improve my german skills. So i found a website that contained lots of common words. I spent an entire week to remember the German numbers, the days of week, also,  the months of year. This week i mainly focused on the vocabulary. This time i concentrated on seasons and directions. 
All the seasons are male gender, which suprised me a lot. Winter and summer are similar to the English form while spring and autumn have different spelling. I love the sound of 'der Frühling'. Besides, autumn is called 'der Herbist' in German. i wonder that is it because that autumn is a harvest season? 
Focusing on the vocabulary of diractions, i think the word 'geradeaus' is hard for me to remember. Meanwhile, I write down how to describe direcations in several ways, which i believe is very useful.

In this week i watched a famous German TV series called ‘Unsere Mütter, unser Väter ’. It was very touching and i have cried several times espesially at the end of the story. This TV series contained multiple moving dialogues and i noted down some of them.
  • Man Sagt, das alles um einen herwm still wird, im Moment des Todes.
  • Der krieg wird nur das schlechteste in uns zum Vorschein bringen.

Today i heard a song in Youtube which i think is realy funny and i have learnt lots of words and sentences in it. This song was called 'Ist mir egal' and becaust of it, i know how to say 'whatever' in German now;)

This website including the German colors and shapes. This week i mainly concentrated on those words. Most of them are similar to English in some ways so they are more easily to be remembered compared with those which are not. I wrote down some colors that are hard for me to remember.
  • yellow=gelb
  • black=schwarz
Also, i think all the German shapes are very hard to be memorized and they all have different genders. So i wrote down some common shapes and try to keep them in mind.

This week i watched a impressive movie called 'Das Leben der Anderen'. The movie illustrated the historical background of the Deutsche Demokratische Republik in 1984, which i believe is imformative and i have learnt lots of things in the movie.
The most impressive one in this movie, as for me, is the poem that the charactor had used. I searched for the name of that poem and noted down my favourite part. This poem was called 'Erinnerungen an Marie A' written by Brecht.
