         <description><![CDATA[<p>I discovered IRE. This is something that I have done for years, now in the classroom but even before as a baseball instructor, I just did not know it was considered IRE. Reading through this chapter made me realize it is not the best approach to engaging students to have open discussions. Definitely something I will be trying to no longer use going forward.</p>]]></description>

I am sure these are all great strategies but where do we place a student that struggles with English? Do we place them with a native English speaker in hopes that they will learn from them, or do we not place them with an English speaker because they may not fully understand everything he/she is saying?</p><p><br/></p>]]></description>
