Hi partners!!

This is our high school, IES Los Boliches. Located in Fuengirola, a seaside town in Andalusia, the south of Spain.

In our school, we have a wide range of students from secondary education (11- 16 years old), the sixth form (16-18 years old), vocational studies (over 16 )and adults (over 18).

We love taking parts in projects and we have a KA Eramus+ program running.

We are very happy to participate again and we are looking forward to hearing from you all!!.

This is our school for students with special educational needs, Zespół Szkół Specjalnych. It's located in a small town Skoczów in southern Poland. There are about 100 students (aged from 8-18) and 40 teachers. We love eTwinning projects. We got some National Quality Labels and European one. We are glad to join your project.

Our school is situated in the center of Kalamata a beautiful city in southern Greece near the sea between orange and olive trees. We are the "Ribagorçana School", we are located in Catalonia, in the Northeast of Spain in a small town called "El Pont de Suert". 
We are surrounded by mountains in the heart of the Pyrenees and it is starting to get cold although the days are bright, the snow is about to arrive so we are looking forward to a white Christmas.

This traditional sweet is eaten in Spain on January 5th, Epiphany Eve, a night that commemorates the visit of the Three Wise Men (Melchior, Gaspar, and Balthasar) to the child Jesus. According to tradition, they brought him three gifts: gold, myrrh, and frankincense. For this reason, we celebrate Epiphany, and on this special night, the Three Wise Men visit our homes on their camels, bringing presents for everyone.

Wigilia, celebrated on December 24th, is one of the most cherished Polish traditions. It marks Christmas Eve and is rich with customs that emphasize family, faith, and togetherness.There are some important customs during that special day:

Fasting:
- Traditionally, people fast throughout the day and avoid meat. The feast is vegetarian or pescatarian.
First Star ("Gwiazdka"):
- The meal begins once the first star is seen in the sky, symbolizing the Star of Bethlehem.
Sharing (Wafer) Opłatek:
- Family members share a thin wafer (opłatek), blessed in church, and exchange wishes for health, happiness, and peace for the coming year.
Twelve Dishes:
- The Wigilia meal traditionally consists of 12 meatless dishes, symbolizing the 12 apostles or months of the year.
- Common dishes include:
  - Barszcz z uszkami (beet soup with dumplings) or Zupa grzybowa (mushroom soup).
  - Pierogi (dumplings) with various fillings.
  - Ryba (fish), especially carp.
  - Kapusta z grochem (cabbage with peas) or Kapusta z grzybami (cabbage with mushrooms).
  - Kutia or Makowiec (poppy seed desserts).
  - Kompot z suszu (dried fruit compote).
