The Nile is very warm with tropical rains. The River is the coolest in the dry season, and the warmest in the wet season. December and January are the dry seasons, following with the wet season of may and June. The flooding that is caused in the wet season will run off into the Atbara river which ends up feeding back into the Nile. The temperature also varies depending on your location in comparison to the river.
