As someone who loves to travel and learn about new cultures going to Japan was so surreal for me. Japan has been on my bucket list for a while now and I'm so happy that I got to go. When I got there I got settled into this hotel. It had such a great view from the balcony and had amazing service! The part of Japan that I was staying in was a city called Sendai. A day later after getting there I went exploring the lovely city! They had amazing food,nice people,and overall just a great area to be in. I felt so overwhelmed with Japan but in a good way though I never experienced something like this before and compared to the Untied States this was way better. After enjoying my day in Sendai I decided to check out the capital...Tokyo! So I got on a train which was a 7 hour ride! It was worth it though next time I will make sure to know the distance between the different cities so I won't waste all day just sitting in a train but anyways Tokyo was also nice I didn't stay too long though and headed back to Sendai. When I got back I had some amazing vegan food as someone who is vegetarian they have lots of plant based options! The next few days I just spent eating,exploring some more, and taking lots of pictures. Oh you thought I would forget about the pictures? Of course not. I had to capture lovely moments. Well soon I knew it, it was time to head back home to NC. It was fun being in Japan and meeting new people and trying new things.
