Hello. I am Amelia Zara and I would be delighted to be selected for your next lady president of the United States. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas where I graduated from Rice University, top of my class I have 3 kids two boys and one girl. I majored in American Literature and served as a Freelance tutor for several months. I then went to poetry law and became a poetry writer in Houston, Texas. Some may say that I don't deserve president, just because I do things most people don't do. I honestly feel that my opinions would help this country well.

We need more laws to help the environment and Climate Change.

As humans, we have caused the earth to warm 1C. The impact on human health is affected by releasing gasses. Cars are responsible for half of the greenhouse gas. Releasing gasses causes temperature rising. When it is warm outside, the sea level rises. When it's warm outside the seasons start to change. When it's warmer, ice starts to shrink. In 1890-2004, there were only three hurricanes. In 2004, seven hurricanes happened. The levels of exposure cause disasters. In the next 10 years, it's most likely going to go up even more.

My stance on Higher taxes for the rich

650 billionaires have seen their wealth increase by 1.3tn. This shows how much money these rich have. In 1978, the top owned 0.1% about 7% of the nations. In 2019, data showed they owned 20% of the nation; by 2018, the total income of the richest percent 1% would be 850$ billion less. Even the two richest people now own 40% of America's wealth combined which is crazy because working families are struggling with taxes. In the past 40 years, a massive transfer of wealth has happened. This is why I think that the rich have to have higher tax rates because they always get the same route just because they have money and can afford it while the struggling working families have to struggle to pay taxes and have to pay higher for no reason. I don't think that's right that certain people have privileges.

My stance on 2nd Amendment

As citizens, I believe we have a right to bare arms. The 2nd Amendment is based on our rights the same as our 1st and 4th Amendments. As citizens, I think we have the right to defend our homes, property, ourselves, and our children, and shall not be infringed. The reason why I Amelia Zara Bell, believe this is that "Guns don't kill, People kill" This is an example of why I go for the no ban of guns, Of course, guns are weapons and sometimes are dangerous but it's for our good and since the government doesn't wanna protect us we have to do it ourselves and that's why we use guns for protection. (if criminals have multi-rounds so should we too). however I do believe in background checks, I think its important to make sure weapons don't go into the wrong hand and I agree with practicing gun safety, too bar arms is not only for are safety but for our wellbeing.

Arguing against why we don't need to tax the rich

Some people do think that we don't need to tax the rich but I disagree because there are struggling families all around the world who do work and still can't afford to pay off their taxes fully but yet when it comes to the rich it's not fair because yes they work and sometimes there self-employed but they still do make a lot of money off of doing nothing and yet they have to live the life of not getting taxed but yet the struggling ones do get taxed, also the two most rich people own 40% of America's wealth and still never get heavily taxed with all the money they have!. 92 million people are uninsured or underinsured but at least the struggling should get taxed lower and the rich higher There is $42,000 income each year coming out from non-rich people this is my argument against why we should not tax the rich

Why we don't need more regulations/laws

We do not need more regulations because fossil fuels need to be used forever. Fracking allows greenhouse gas to release large amounts of methane. Fracking rarely causes earthquakes and increases water rate, natural gas, and petroleum. Banning fracking can cause dictations or job lost. Banning fractions can also cause a 1.2t reduction. In 2014, Barack Obama said natural gas powers the economy. The natural gas needs to get 100 percent clean energy. Therefore, fracking is a special self method of extracting natural gas. Fracking has also allowed the United States to export and produce gas. The United States is now the leader in oil and natural gas. If we don't keep drilling for oil, we are going to have to depend on other countries so we have to keep drilling.

Argument against why we don't need the 2nd Amendment

These reasons are why I do go with no bans/restrictions on guns. Firstly, Is us citizens do have rights to defend ourselves against any other threat, most citizens do feel more safer that they know they have rights to protect themselves with a gun if in danger. Secondly, Studies do show that if danger is a person who is a criminal that they will think twice if they know potential victims are in fatal harm but this isn't confirmed to be in every situation that you would be in so even if this could happen it doesn't mean this will be the possible situation you could be in so a gun would be a good idea to have just in case it turns to a bigger situation. Thirdly, Most of Americas citizens are Well trained and safety trained to handle a gun and are responsible for their own gun and rather than reckless. Fourthly, the right to bear arms has a deep historical root in the fight for freedom and independence. Many may not agree but it is true. Lastly, rather than banning guns addressing the root causes of violence, such as poverty, mental health issues and lack of education. May provide us citizens withought infringing our individual rights. My points prove that we should not consider banning guns and to create more possible solutions that fit right with other citizens than to just giving us the not the right to at least create different ideas and to give us personal freedom and safety and cultural values.
