We create polls that the entire school students will vote and we will give different awards to teachers who gets the most votes.

We call XYZ Teacher on stage and they don't have any prior idea about it (just like a surprise)

Teacher's Award idea is good to go guys like we can divide the segments into Senior Secondary,secondary, middles and primary ....and keep 2-3 awards category (for example most supportive teacher, Most Energetic Teacher etc )

Time Capsules

How about making the middle section students from 6th or 7th write a few things about the school, the teachers, and the memories and then seal it away? This could be re-opened only in their last year, which would then be revealed to the teachers, the school, and the students who would eventually replace them. such time capsules could be buried and then when removed could be replaced by a tree which could be named after the batch that had made the capsule. For example, It's 2024 and your farewell year, so the tree would be named 2024, and so on. This will ensure the school's and the township's stamp of approval as well cuz this doesn't really hurt the environment and will remain the best kind of shoutout to the alumni who have left the school and the teachers. According to me this could be somewhat of a really warm thing to do for the teachers. Imagine meeting the teachers for the final time and handing out all the emotions you had for them back then. I think that's pretty cool. It would also show the students how much they've grown in the past years. Overall a pretty interactive activity if done right. But the things to take care of by the prefects are A) To select only a handful of letters while examining for any offensive phrase or hate speech. B) With the help of the art and crafts department place the capsule at such a length from where it can be recovered. We can also shift the dates for the capsules from the farewell year to lets say 5 years or 10 years. pros of this are: It would inspire the then students to write their letters as well as they can, and this would mean that time capsules would remain lesser in number, thus holding higher significance, and rather than middle school the senior secondary could participate in it as well. let's look forward to creating a culture and a legacy that sustains itself and gets passed on in the school as a staple, let's not treat events as mere programs, and let's view them as things we can proudly pass on to our juniors who would cherish them. -Abhinav Dwivedi

We can organize a game similar to dumb charades..

We will give creative clues related to their unique traits, hobbies, habits, or acting/imitating and the students will guess the teacher.

We will get a video shoot by 8-10 students randomly speaking good things about teachers of our school(not teacher specific) and get this video circulated to all teachers through mail

Students Being Teachers

I think the last year's idea should be continued because it's been a legacy since our father/mother's generation and it should go on at least till we pass out.

We could schedule this in any one periods of all classes of Block D.
All teachers will be sitting in the class of their respective period but the teacher will be a student of class 11th.

Teacher talent show
We can host some assembly or like get-together where we students can perform some skills which some of our teachers possesses and ask others to recognise.
Students led workshops
We can organise workshops where we students would organise the seminar and give ideas for better teaching tricks and tips to the teachers
Video Gratitude
We can make a video displaying the teachers' hard work and ourselves showing up our gratitude towards them. We can thank them personally afterwards giving a card or by giving speeches.
Certificates
Special certificates can be made where it would be written, " CONGRATULATIONS Dear _____________ Sir/Mam for being a teacher and helping us to make our lives."
Gifts and Arts
We can gift our teachers some special, small and sweet packages containing some gifts or any artefacts. Gifts may include any small food item like a small cupcake or any small perfume bottle etc.
Grand Collage
Different photos and memories of teachers can be brought out and displayed in the collage with any small message underneath the same.

Lastly some personalised thank you notes and cards can be handed over to the teachers which would be made by the students of different classes (Middles/Secondary/S. Secondary)
