By improving the quality of communication between member NGOs and potential donors, it is hoped that resources will reach the organizations that truly master the issues of interest to the donor. It is even possible to promote alliances between two or more NGOs that, together, meet the donor's requirements and objectives.

I see a decentralized donating process, where multiple smaller donors provide as much (or more) monies directly to end users, interacting directly with organizations, their personnel and possibly beneficiaries.
