Brainstorm and write on chart ways in which children can fill a bucket. In the writing center (small group) for three or four-year-olds, have children dictate ways they can fill buckets.  Complete the activity in the art center or daily by adding a colored paper strip for each act of kindness they perform or actually fill a bucket when they see a friend show kindness. Once full, the class gets a reward.
