One way my life is the same is, I go to church just like the children in the video. Which means, I devote time and effort into going to church and praying and thanking god for all I have. Although, I don't go to church everyday, that's one way that the children and I are different. The children and I also all get baptized and it symbols a new beginning, a new friendship, a new commitment to god, that you will be pure and good. The boy and I are different because he chose to be baptized when he was a little older. They also believed that they had to be dunked fully underwater to be truly baptized.  In my religion, they only think that if you baptize someones head that is enough to wash away original sin. Another way that me and the boy are alike is, we both celebrate Easter, in a christian church, Easter is a time to remember what Jesus (gave his life), Mary (gave her son's life) and God (gave his son's life) gave us/did for us. In the time of Easter, all Christians attend mass, or church, so they can celebrate Jesus' sacrifice and his resurrection. Usually, the Friday before Easter, or Good Friday, Christians are sad because this was the day (a long time ago) that Jesus died on the cross and was crucified just so we could live fuller lives and one day, resurrect and go up into heaven. Another major holiday that I celebrate and also share in common with the children in the video is, Christmas. Christmas is a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Before Christmas, Christians have an Advent calendar that they follow. In church, they also have an advent wreath with 5 candles that they light each Sunday before Christmas Day. I, also like the boy in the video, go to mass either at midnight mass (usually at 10 pm) or Christmas morning. I, to, like the boy in the video receive communion. It is referred to as "First Communion" and it's where we receive the body and blood of Christ. Also, we practice a lot before we receive the communion so that we don't mess up. Before it, we also go to classes called, PSR. Unlike, the boy in the video, I continue PSR until I am in 8th grade, or until I make my Confirmation. But, just like the boy in the video, I also have a party after children in my religion have their "First Communion", they invite family and friends and they celebrate the child's new, more adult relationship with god.
